Santa's Workshop
Our classroom has been filled with activities in Santa's workshop. Santa's elves (our students) have been getting into the holiday spirit by filling our room with kindness and good deeds. We have been busy making cards, drawing beautiful pictures, making gifts and wrapping them. Students love dressing up as Santa as they deliver gifts in our big Santa bag. We love all the reading and writing that is happening in our workshop too!
'Twas a Merry Mathy Christmas'!
We had a wonderful afternoon with singing, a visit by Santa, and a celebration of math in kindergarten. Our classroom was filled with very 'merry math' games, building activities along with cookies and sharing time. Special thanks to all of the parents, grandparents and special visitors who shared our Mathy day with us.

Welcome to English Kindergarten
Welcome to English Kindergarten at Tecumseh Vista!
We are thrilled to begin a new year and to have the honour of teaching your child in our English Kindergarten program. At Tecumseh Vista Academy, our goal in kindergarten is to ensure that each child has a positive, welcoming environment filled with wonderful opportunities. Your child will enjoy the fun-filled play environment that is rich with new, hands-on experiences. Your child will be provided with the challenge of first hand investigation and the experience of a variety of centres in and out of the classroom. We will build a foundation where your child will be given the opportunity to learn literacy and numeracy skills at a kindergarten level. On a very important note, your child will develop tools for life to become a responsible, caring and kind individual. It is our goal to provide a happy, safe and positive environment where your child develops to his/her best ability.
